Well we have been here over a week now and as usual I am only just getting arround to Bloging (sorry no pictures this time as I don't know how to load them on this computer).
We arrived at Heathrow on the 1st of December and whent to stay with Ned's step family (not sure of the conection) in Frencham near Gilford. They have an amazing old house that I beleive dates back to the 1600s. The house is exactly the right size for me as I was the only person there who didn't have to duck inder some of the low door frames. We spent a day doing a wherl wind tour of London, but we plan to go back so we were not to worried about missing anything.
We stayed in Frencham for about 5 days to recover from the reduculusly(sp?) long flight. The filght was ok, but REALLY long.
From Frencham we went by train to Emsworth (near Portsmouth) to stay with Ned's step-grandma. We were there for aboout 3 days one of which was spent at the historic docyards in Portsmouth.
From there we caught another train to Bath. There we stayed with another of Ned's relatives or family friends or someone compleatly random. They actualy lived in Bradford-on-Avon. We spent another three days there looking around Bradford and Bath. The lady who we were staying with shouted us both a 2 hour trip to the new multy million pound Thermal spa complex. It was AMAZING!!!! We were swimming in an open air roof top pool in the einglish winter! We didn't want to leave Bath, but our wallets needed a break.
Currently we are in Harpenden, north of London. We are staying with, you guessed it more of Ned's family aquantences(sp?). We only arrived here yesterday afternoon so have not seen much of the place yet. I am not sure we have seen all of the HOUSE yet. My entire house and back courtyard could fiit in their back yard.
We are going to spent thisafternoon in St Albans looking at the Roman ruins and the Abbey and the like, and tomorrow we are headinh into London.
I will keep you all posted on our Adventure as they unfold.
For now Good Bye!
